Have you ever wake up one day, not knowing what is gonna happen and what you're gonna do? How will the day be like? A repetitive one or an impromptu one that make it interesting? One could never know until they themselves create their own story.

It could always start with "Once upon a day" and it could also end with "They live happily every after". This however is not a fairytale, although I've always prefer fantasy than reality, the reality will always slam in my face. I tend to realize and observed many things in reality and brood about it, giving some idiotic hypothesis and conclusion where sometimes it could be wrong but almost every time I'm right.

I tried not to over look or even over think but it just come naturally, which I really despise it. This makes me more mature than my own age.

I tend to go crazy and spout rubbish every now and then and laugh really loudly. This is the only best way to cover what I really feel inside, disallow others to enter my soul. Despite having some friends and a loving family, I still feel lonely and depress. At time I would like to scream or cry, or just dance till my feet hurts. I want to drown my sorrow but doesn't know how. It is like stabbing into a sponge which leaves no mark.

Smiling and laughing is like a shade to block my thoughts. Covers my constant overwhelming emotional feeling away from people. I smile because I need to and I can.

I do feel something missing in my heart but I couldn't find it.

Recap

Okay a long story short on these few months. For starters, I coincidentally met that (crab) guy again in Syndicate one Friday night whom I tried to ignore but I failed. Oh well, I named him Crab because his real name is Sebastian and it reminded me of Sebastian the crab in Little Mermaid. We still have a little contact with each other but only for a purpose. Another guy whom I danced with in the foam party was long forgotten- out of sight, out of mind.

Then in school, my lab partner became slightly kinder which really surprised me. At times he was kind and at times he wasn't, which really boggles my mind. But I don't give a damn. And I got to know more about this Nepalese petite girl who is really cute and funny but we're not that close. On the other hand, I got quite close to Dominic, my senior, and no apparent reason we became buddies!

Once he brought me to a house party, a freaking lame one that doesn't involve music or booze but only spending the time playing cards, which I still couldn't get it because all the time they use mandarin! Though I still stay and play. We exchange numbers, created a group chat and started hanging out a few times. Just recently, I've celebrated one of the birthdays and realized I've already celebrated 3 person's birthday. I can bet no one will celebrate mine as it is in the summer holiday, I'll probably be back to Malaysia with only my family to celebrate.

Aside that, one night after my last coursework of this term was submitted, I finally had a joint after 6 months in rehab. Well I'm not a smoker, but I stayed at home for 4 months and since I came to UK, I didn't smoke anything, so that was my first since I got here. It was extremely satisfying! I didn't get high, it was only a few puffs.

Well, I guess that's it.

pu na na

Last Tuesday, my friends and I planned to go Pam Pam, sadly it was closed. Hence, we wanted to enter Bunker, but a girl in the group hated that place, god knows why, asked and she never replied and she was being fickle! Rejecting that suggestion but in the end saying it will be alright 'if' we did enter.

Somehow I always hated fickle-minded people, I did had the urge to slap her or just give some really nasty comment, but I just ignored her. Finally we went to the nearest club, just a few blocks down from Bunker and enter Pu Na Na. Though, I've never been in there, but i had the feeling it won't be good, because it is a Tuesday, and there was no queue outside.

As, we enter, the crowd was pathetic! It was so little, you could just walk without bumping to anyone! Despite of having a good time, dancing and jumping, the DJ wasn't good, the songs were on repeat after each 2-3 songs and the club closes before 2.30 a.m.! It was horrendous! Honestly, I was just exaggerating but yes, it was really bad! Probably the DJ and the early departure- I was still in a good mood though.

Anyhoodle, Pu Na Na have other days which are better on Tuesday. This is just my point of view, I don't wish to make an offense. Bunker is good on a Tuesday, it seems.

Hot or Beautiful?

Ladies, which do you prefer being called as; hot or beautiful? Once a while we do have that small fluttering feeling if a guy whistle as we passed, called us hot or sexy in an outfit, right? Is just our hormones that define us as woman, the gender with attractiveness and beauty that we just have to flaunt!

I don't mean to show it to everyone but you can show it privately to your own husband/boyfriend/lover- whichever and in every way, we just love to flaunt!

Somehow for me, I got awfully tired to be called 'hot'. Before you snicker, thinking this girl isn't pretty, well, I don't know how to compare beauty- seriously, but yes, I was considered 'hot' in some cases, mostly on the dance floor. Just because I know how to dance in a club, or so they say I dance good (still doubtful), they always compliment me with 'hot'.

Am I just all that? The term 'hot' is not giving much respect to a girl, it may seem crude in another form of slutty or bitchy. And it doesn't last long either! Hotness can fade away either by dressing or the looks or the body, but beauty, is the key to a female every personality!

A girl's beauty last till old age, because is inside a woman's soul and body!

I really wish one day someone would come up to me and say "You're beautiful".

took the pictures from controversalism/tumblr. should follow her =)

Cheers!

Movember

The days are shorter, the nights are longer! An opposite words from 'Phineas & Ferb 2D Dimension Movie'. Well these represent the days I'm living in. Is only 5 pm and is as dark as 8pm!

UK is still a mind-boggling country to me and I haven't accepted the cold yet. It was only last week, at the end of October where the temperature was fine with a cool breeeze of 15-8 degrees. A sudden sheer drop, all the way down to 1 degrees left me searching for the panic button.

I definitely wasn't prepared. Beside it rains almost every night.  Wet, damp and cold is not my forte. I prefer something warm and a small cooling wind brushing up my skin. Not icy cold wind that penetrates through my skins and bite my bones! Who would have like that, anyway?

Plus, I've heard is a tad too early to have such temperature. Because is only the start of November, winter comes in December, so the local people said!

What may come next month I wonder, will the temperature drop even further? How can I survive such condition? I'm still recovering from my fever, is already been a week, and I feel like a slug!

p/s: for those who doesn't know, Movember is the combination of Moustache & November. =)

HAPPY MOVEMBER!

Sexy foam party @ Syndicate 2012

First off, I never intended to go for this party because it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE for just the entrance. 10 pounds!!! Definitely a rip-off! Just because is an "Asian Party". Oh how racist and insulting! Plus, is a foam party, I didn't think it was gonna be a good one because is an indoor foam party, probably they just sprayed the foam like water droplets. Something like those fake snow?

Anyhoodle, that cute girl who I went with to Erasmus party urge me to go  AND I did wanted to go out that night. I was hoping my flatmate would take me somewhere but she's only going to a pub with her friends who I doesn't know. It will be awkward and slightly boring. So I ignore the price and have fun and crazy that night!
in cloud 9

And hell I did! The crowd was absolutely pathetic, maybe because it was a weekday, Thursday and maybe there ain't much of Asians here in bristol? Plus the downside as well, the club is way too bright! I always enter clubs which are so dark I couldn't find my friends, while it was so clear and bright, I could find my friends in 5 meters away.

Again I drank 3 shots but slower this time as I don't want to waste 10 pound cuddling the toilet bowl, not this time baby! First was jaggerbomb and then vodka. And my third drink was paid by someone I just met- also Jaggerbomb.

Well it so happen I was searching for my friend after I went to the loo, he came up to me asking if I want to dance. I didn't know why I couldn't say no, but I just think "Well, is just a dance, is not like anything gonna happen, beside is such a small crowd, I can just kick him in the face. LOL"

And we danced the whole night. IMO, he doesn't really know how to dance, because he hold onto me too tight, i could barely breathe! Dancing should let go of the partner slightly, so they can move. Anyway, he tried to kiss me a few times, but I say no and pushed his head away. Not sure why.

The foam was definitely not what I anticipated. Thick foam was spraying out from a hose in all directions, unless a person stands at a bar or the stairs, far away from it, that person will not be wet. I got totally soaked and is not easy to breathe! The foam came onto my face; my nose was stuck and it enter my eyes, a stinging sensation because I was wearing contacts! I had no choice but to use my friend's clothes to wipe it off! Sorry Dom! :P

We danced till the club ends and walk home wet, soggy and cold! Yup 2 days later I got a fever, so bad I couldn't get up from my bed. Oh what an experience!!

p/s: I took a few puff from the guy whom I danced with, Jonathan. =P

The Anchor

My flatmate wanted to chill for the night, so we went out somewhere nearby to a pub name "The Anchor". Her friend was there to meet us at the bus stop and I invited the "crab from little mermaid". LOL

Well, I don't want to feel alone, because she have her friend and usually 3 people can't make a good conversation! So, we drank a bit and chatted. It was only a pub beside a car wash, fair pricing and blasting those MTV music- mainstream ones.

We had to go back early before 12am because we had an early class the next day. But oh boy, did I not sleep early! That little devil kept me awake and want to visit my room! I shoo-ed him off to downstairs at the main door, and we're both hugging intimately, I feel totally embarrassed!! We're at the front door, where people walk in and out, and some nosy douche poke his head out of the window and start teasing us about sex. OMG!!

Finally, I went inside and after much confrontation, he manage to leave. Leaving me with a goodnight kiss on my forehead. I swoon!

This may lead you to think I'm an easy girl who gets happy easily, well sorta but I don't think he's a keeper. Beside, a small kiss doesn't meant anything, right? ;)

That boy have some smooth moves, with his ever invigorating hormones, he's just looking for girls... if you know what I mean. But i'm not gonna fit into that category!

Erasmus Party in Bristol 2012

A sudden impromptu invite from Dom, my senior to an Erasmus Party at Basement 45. I wasn't sure where was it or what's the meaning of 'erasmus'!

I went home to google it, and find out the exact location of the place. Somehow I was afraid to go because I barely knew my senior and it says 'Basement 45'- a basement means an underground area which I think may be secluded and dark and creepy! And if anything bad happen, I can't escape! I know, I've been watching far too many movies and is ridiculous!

After much thinking, I went anyway. Met Dom halfway, oh he cycle from his home! Fancy this "Hi I'm here to party, ring ring (his bike bell)!" LOL my imagination of him riding a bicycle to a club, with a new hip style!

Okay, moving on, I met his friend, a female cute girl who's quite chatty and happy-go-lucky. As we enter, we each order shots. I can't remember what they order, I know mine- vodka and tequila. And off to the dance floor! Somehow I was extremely happy that I forgot I had low tolerance towards alcohol. So I went for another shot- slippery nipples.

I've always wanted to try that after I watched "Hot Chick". It tasted ghastly! And oops, I drank 3 in on go, my heart start pumping and I feel whoozy after a short dance. Lack of oxygen as well. I went to the toilet straight after and spend 1 hour cuddling the bowl. Oh damn! what a wasted night!

Ahh~ hold your horses, is not that wasted, I met a cute guy who somehow was interested in me, god knows what! He came to me as I rest on the bench and we started talking. When I felt better, I pulled him to dance and well, I dance on him, rather intimately and yeap, we kissed! English people called it snogging.

Twice on the dance floor and once before he left. I was tipsy, so basically, my body does things my mind couldn't prevent. It was all a blur, but yet I remember some of it. Funny thing was he said he was going back, but as soon as I was leaving, I saw him waiting for me.

*total shocked* My heart skip a beat but I play it cool. And yea, we walked back together with Dom- he feels as a responsibility to take me home safely. So yea, it ended in a not-so good but a good day :)

P/s: that cutie guy was named after the crab in 'little mermaid'. a little guess ;)

night is YOUNG pt 2

Just two days ago, Friday the 28th, I went for a social night with the paintball team members. My flatmate accompanied me, which is a great thing so I don't feel alone. So we're supposed to meet them at the Student Union at 19.30, however we have no idea where the Student Union is and we make a few rounds around the campus. Quite silly though but we're new to this school as to the city as well.

Finally, we found them in the Escape Bar and we had an ice-breaker. My first drink was red aftershock with lemonade, cost me £2.11 and it tasted slightly weird but I was okay. The effect only happen right after I finish my drink because I didn't know it will since I don't get much of the alcohol. My face again turn beetroot, so I went to take a breather.

Few minutes later, we took a Wessex 13 to town and went to Commercial Rooms, apparently is under the same branch as Wetherspoon, only a different name. My flatmate chose woo woo as her drink in a pitcher as I drank a VK orange at £1.89 which definitely extremely light! I could barely feel a zing. Since is a bar/pub, there wasn't enough space and it was crowded, so we had to switch or share a seat and we had to gulp our drink down and head onto another pub.
commercial rooms

The next was Vanilla where is more of a pub cum club- extremely loud music in the background. We had a free shot probably because we're under the guest list. And we order extra shots, my flatmate a "1,2,3..floor" and mine a Hay.... Tart, I couldn't remember the name, I know it was red in colour. They even have a spin-the-wheel so that whatever the needles land on, a person will have to drink it! Is an element of surprise. =)
vanilla pub

We spend absolutely a short amount of time, not sure why, then we head onto ETON, said there is 50% discount for UWE students when a student ID card is shown. I bought myself another cup of spirits with Bacardi with cranberry/raspberry, it tasted like cough syrup! Even the colour looks like cough syrup! LOL, £2 but I still have to drink them. My flatmate had 3 drinks, all the same type i presume- vodka with lime and lemonade. That taste much better.
ETON

Finally we head to a club, O2 Academy and the theme was Ramshackle. Guess it was really shackling with lots of people. It was so crowded and smokey I could barely breathe! I've never been to such crowded club before. Is like while you try to dance, people move from one corner to another and some hit you with their hands or elbow and some pushed you. Is totally not worth a dance!

O2 Academy
Anyway, some crazy fellow did have a pushing game and it hurt me badly! So, we decided to change location and dance in a less crowded spot. That ended better!

O2 Academy- crowded
All in all, it was a good night ;)

Night is YOUNG

I went to two pubs and end the night in a club last Friday. I went with my flatmate and her friends. The first was at "The Woods", where drinks are slightly pricey but the ambiance is just nice to relax and have a chat. I didn't order any drinks as I doesn't want to drink yet and get tipsy in the first pub plus is expensive for a spirit ranging £2.50-£3. I've never order a drink from the bar before, so I'll let it slide.

Next we head towards Weatherspoon. They're having a promotion for 2 pitchers at the price of £10. That's really cheap because a pitcher is 2 litres of cocktails! My flatmate was incredibly kind and she treat me a drink, I think a vodka with cranberry? Soooo sweet of her, she said "Since is your first drink, I'll treat you." It quickly took effect as the alcohol wham right into my bloodstream making my heart beat a million times faster, pounding my chest and producing bright hot red onto my cheeks!

A few hours later, we head on to a club, we wanted to go to Syndicate because I read there was a foam party, should be awesome! However is too far, so we went to another club down the road to "Bunkers". I had to pay the entrance fee of £5 because we went in around 12am. It was £3 before 11 pm and £4 in the guestlist. I had a shot of Jager-bomb, cost me £2.50- if I'm not mistaken.

The songs they played were like hip-hop, R'n' B, house, commercial anthems and D&B. Those wasn't my type of songs, so I doesn't know how to dance plus my flatmate barely danced, some of her friends did and one kept texting her boyfriend, it was rather dull for me. But I still danced or move my body a bit. We end up sharing a taxi back to our apartment and some were tipsy.

I had lotsa fun getting to know people and to know how Brits party. That's all. Cheers

My Life in Bristol pt 4

Since is my first time in UK, I've never really seen their houses before. I've always thought is more of a "harry potter"-ish type with big castle, old red brick and a bridge over a small river. Most of the time I've only watched American show where their houses are huge with a big frontyard or backyard, and some with garage and attic.

However, the houses here is quite small. I don't feel cheated or sad, I think is incredible because it saves a lot of space but I've heard the whole house has only one toilet and one bathroom. I wonder how they live in such condition! I guess I can say I was lucky to have my own toilet- yet I complain the cleaning. LOL

Okay, so the houses here is something like a townhouse back in Malaysia which are all the same size and design and sticks beside another house really closely. The main gate is something like a fence in Malaysia, not like our big metal gate that protect us from thieves. There's a small step leading up to their front door but not all the houses are alike, as I go along the street from the city towards the suburban area, the house gets larger and there is also a porch to park their cars or plant some flowerbeds- whichever.

My guess is the house in the city is expensive, hence a small one without a porch. The locals mention that the house in Clifton Down are huge like a bungalow in Malaysia. I've seen a few times up on a small hill and they were vacant by rich people back in Victorian times. By the way, the pets are extremely well groom, I can see their hair silky smooth and rich in nutrients! All the dogs are in leash though and they look really tame. I've never seen one bark at any strangers but just follow the master. They would go for a jog with their master in the cold- is just too cute! I love animals but could never have one- the hassle =P

I guess that's all I can say about Bristol. Till I find something interesting, I'll add more.

Cheers

My Life in Bristol pt 3

Okay, now to the streets of Bristol, the roads are really small because the cars are parked at the side of road because most of the houses near the street doesn't have a porch. In the end, house owners uses a quarter of the road.

There's only one lane on each side and cyclist can cycle on the road where vehicles used. Somewhat like motorcyclist used in Malaysia but a bicycle instead. Priority was given to them as well as the pedestrians. I feel quite grand when the car stops and let me move. Malaysian doesn't give a shit! LOL

One of the houses along the way
Furthermore, the traffic light gives a signal first before turning green. For example, before it turns green from red, the amber colour will appear together with the read, as a 'get ready' signal. I believe is a good idea instead of the colour change unexpectedly and some drivers are slow at changing gear and may stall the road. They have quite a lot of roundabouts, a really small one too!

Since I stay near the city, the journey took me 30-45 mins to school and the road is really winding and there's emergency brakes too. The bus I took Is Wessex which are 11-15 and 19, this are the few which can bring me to the campus from city center, however they only provide a few bus while the First bus has more coach. I think this is rather sad as students need transport more badly mainly because teenagers doesn't have a car or the parking fees in the campus is pricey (haven't found out the price yet but it was pricey in UCSI) or some just haven't got a driving license yet.

There's so many reason, I believe they should prioritize the students. The First bus is more reliable when is due to reach a station and it has more coach, so if you miss one, you'll get another in 20 mins. Wessex will have to wait half hour to an hour! I've gotten late to class for my first week because of Wessex bus. Lucky they provide free shuttle bus to the uni but it only last for the first 3 weeks, after that I'm on my own! Grrr!

The vehicles here are mostly European brands and quite a lot are convertible, I love that car. Remember I mention the people here are friendly and peaceful? They barely honk at each other unless is necessary and they don't get grumpy and start cussing while giving a middle finger. They're more civilized.

My Life in Bristol pt 2

I've been in Bristol for 2 weeks now and class is gonna start next week. Is only an induction this week, so practically I can rest and still enjoy. =D

This is my final year here taking biological sciences which I realize is far different from UCSI, the education system is different and they take things really strict here. I hope I won't make a mistake though.

Here's a few insight on Bristol through my experience or what I see. The people here are really, exceptionally friendly. If you stare at them, they will smile. Usually in Malaysia they don't smile but there is some minority and if you stare any longer they'll punch you. Fierce huh? Anyway, Bristolian or the English are kind as well as I got lost once as I stepped off the wrong bus station, I ask for direction and an uncle lead me. They always say 'cheers' as in the form of 'thank you' and 'you're alright?' instead of 'how are you?'

That's quite a difference and I'm getting used to it. Plus I realize man in the age of late 20's or early 30's go bald. I wonder why. I do see some old uncle with white hair but that's minority.

Proceed to part 3.....

My Life in Bristol

departing from KLIA
hey there!!! I was on hiatus and now I'm back!!! What a hectic month where I have to prepare all my documents, visas, clothes to pack etc etc, just too many things! Well glad that is done as I've landed in the United Kingdom safe and sound on the 15th Sept at 0700. Is really early but I have no choice, as I'm getting the free shuttle bus to my school, I had to be there 3 hours before they depart.

Anyway, I got a slight jetlag for the first 2 days and finally succumb to it. I took a bit of exploration in the city center since I live just round the corner of the city. It was absolutely tiring on the first week as I need to know which location that I can buy some ingredients for my tummy, pillows and duvets (the accommodation doesn't provide them), winter clothes because I didn't bring much with me, cookery, locations of bus stations and buses to take and many others! It was just not enough time!!
Transit in Dubai

Finally I settle down after the first week and I went to the Fresher's Fair on the Friday. It was awesome! Is something like an event where all freshie get to know their uni better and was given lots of free vouchers, discount card, freebies and much much more! Is more hype and cool than my school, I would say. The sport activities/ societies is amazing! They have extreme sports like surfing, wind surfing, wall climbing, parachuting, canoeing, pole dancing, paintball (I'm thinking of joining), lacrosse, squash and more!!!

My uni was more of the mainstream sports and is not really that active, except dodgeball. Though, I'm proud to say my uni was really good at dodgeball and won three years in a row. Eventhough I wasn't in the competition and I didn't win anything for them, I'll still say kudos!

I'll write in another post. Too long to read will bore a person. LOL

Has anyone watched "Never Been Kissed" played by Drew Barrymore? Is about a journalist who got a second chance to enter her old high school as a research for a story. She was never been cool and hip.. until now. Those who haven't watched can get a glimpsed of the trailer here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d97O5zOBwcw

Okay, continue to me, my life is somewhat like hers. In high school all I really did was study and talk to a few friends who I can reached the nearest. I'm not close or good with those famous and cool and brilliant student. I'm more of having a few friends which I can talk but not exceptionally close like a best friend. As far as I'm concern, I don't have a best friend. Probably my trust issues or the way I was brought up.

Anyway, i'm not smart- a mediocre student who even fail her chemistry and physic subjects, not good at sports, join a few clubs just to waste my time and tried to mingle with some new friends but failed.

And of course, my love life. Zero. I've just recently read a distress 19 years-old girl posting about her not getting kissed. Guess I'm not the only one. However, I'm 21 (soon-to-be), and I've never dated any guy in my life. I do wonder at times, what have I lack or tried different approach and none of it works.

I think how does having a boyfriend feels like. The embrace, the caress, the kiss, the hugs and definitely the clutching of hands. I wonder how it feel to hold a guy's hand, the warmth of his hand filling up mine as we proudly show the world we are in a relationship.

Just a feeling that is in my bucket list. Kinda silly, right?

action speaks louder than words

I'm not complaining but honestly, why does everyone says something and never does it? Is this becoming a trend that people bullshit a lot? If you can't do it, then don't brag and gloat that you can. Is ridiculous and you're making yourself a laughing stock.  Unless you want to be an unpaid clown, then by all means, go ahead!

Stop saying, "I miss you" or "You can count on me' or "I'll be there" if you don't mean it. Said it and keep your promise. Or make an effort to really call someone instead of just saying. What's the point anyway? If you can do it, so can I!

However, my friend who came back from Australia from study, he said Malaysian does that a lot. Probably because we cheat and lie to people and make empty promises, so that's why everyone practice it.

OHEMGEE stop it already. It is fucking annoying!

I'm just that girl....

who is so naive and innocent that I doesn't know how babies are made. I do know how they are form, from eggs to zygote to embryo and slowly forming a human body. But I do NOT know how conception was done, not literal because it wasn't taught in my high school.

It is consider a taboo here in Malaysia since it is an Asian country plus my parents are Asian, so they won't teach me.

I got to learn this when I was 19. Yup quite old to know such simple theory, right? And I learned this from my male friends, they were quite surprised that I wouldn't know this but it was normal since females know less of sex education than males does. Anyhoodle, I got a few tips from them and much more. Since then, I watch porn too, is not something I'm saying it proudly here but I swear many girls do watch it too. Why bother denying it and pretend dumb? I take it as an education which can't be taught in school.

Yes, I was that dumb and innocent. Slowly I gain knowledge. No, I did not apply it, if you're wondering. So, uhm, yea- way to end a diary post.

First off, I got a new haircut! Well, is only my fringe. The back of my hair is still the same length. is more of a Bieber hairstyle when he rise to fame.

So, the time have come and I'm going away for a year to J.O.E (Jolly Old England) for studies. I'm aesthetic and nervous at the same time. Is my first time studying overseas but I know I'll be fine because I''ve already stayed out of the house for 3 years.

This is my final year and I really have to study smart and play hard. Packing is considered done, documentation- checked, payments and such- in progress. Well I guess I'm ready to go! I believe I'll be homesick for the first few days but I have to stay strong and embrace the cold air. Is autumn season, so I'll have to cuddle and keep myself warm!

I'm just wondering if I could get any friends. I'm an introvert and totally anti-social. Well not really, but my face does look fierce and not approachable. Many will think of me as a sensitive girl who will bite. Honestly, I won't, I just say what's on my mind. And I'm really as inquisitive as a mole.

The Night Sea People

Yes the title does sound cheesy, but I just couldn't think of what other titles to write. Anyhoodle, the title give a slight definition to the book I've been reading. Titled Vampirates author by Justin Somper. It is a good read with the combination of pirates that sail across the sea searching for booty while vampires roam the dark devouring blood.

The intriguing title led me to buy the book and absorbed me into their adventures. I won't give any spoilers, of course. This spans into 6 books and I'm still waiting for the last one because Malaysia have a tendency to do everything slow, so it will be in stock after Hari Raya- hoping for that!

Yes this is more of a children story and is also placed at the children section in a bookstore but I still love how the progress of the story goes. Plus, each book always end in a cliffhanger and that keeps urging me to read the next one.

To any Harry Potter fans out there, this is NOT the same story. It may have a slight resemblance, however the story is definitely different and so is the adventure as this is in the vast open sea. I urge many fantasy cum adventures lovers out there to grab this book!

p/s: I'm looking forward for this book to be filmed

Are you hungry for games??

Just recently I watched one of the best selling novels by Suzanne Collins titled "The Hunger Games". This spans out to three books; this novel as the first followed by Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

Most of the cinema was packed when this show was released. Luckily, there was some seats left and we bought without hesitation. Anyhow, on with the movie. It lasted almost 2 hours, if I'm not mistaken.

The cast of Hunger Games

Katniss and Peeta
This is the story which revolved around a 16 year old girl named Katniss Aberdeen that lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem where the countries of North America once existed. The Capitol, a highly advanced metropolis, holds hegemony over the rest of the nation. The Hunger Games are an annual event in which one boy and one girl ages 12-18 from each of the 12 districts surrounding the Capitol are selected by lottery to complete in a televised battle until only one person is left. (wikipedia, 2012).

The movie was quite slow at the start which shows how the two main character was chosen but the female character "Katniss Aberdeen" volunteered instead (you just have to watch to find out why). However, during the action scene, the camera was too shaky or either too fast to capture their fighting scenes. I could barely tell who was hurting whom! Some part of the movie, it was in slow motion, and it drags on and on while other part it was too quick! Especially the scene where Katniss had to fight with another teenage girl to get supplies, they were both rolling on the floor, kicking and stabbing until someone else save Katniss. That part was really bad, in my opinion. And another scene, the romantic scene where Katniss have to help and heal Peeta, that really drag on quite long, basically the whole world was only watching them. It was quite a bore.

Oh, I've read from 9gag, that this story actually is very similar to Stephen King's "The Long Walk" novel. Is very sad to know the synopsis is the same but Suzanne got the fame. I do not know if is true Suzanne stole his idea but is what many had commented. Plus I found this website where Stephen King himself gives a review on The Hunger Games. http://kkcchallenge.wordpress.com/2011/04/23/stephen-king-reviews-the-hunger-games/

All in all, the movie was intriguing and quite interesting. The story line was quite typical as the two main characters will end up together yet I can't wait for the next novel- Catching Fire- to released. Truth is I've never read that book but it was selling like hot cakes in every bookstore and the radio was giving out many free tickets for the movie. So, basically I was dragged along by my friends to watch since it was quite a hot issue. LOL

Broga Hill

I couldn't remember when I went hiking but it was just a few weeks ago. Broga Hill at semenyih somewhere near to Nottingham Campus in Malaysia. Finally I was able to go. I've always wanted to climb that hill but nobody could bring me there or they went and always forgot about me. >.<

I saw a post in the school notice board annoucing a gathering to climb the hill and I quickly sign up without thinking further. I had to pay for it because it was under a club ( I do not know the name at all), priced at RM12 but my friend paid for me and till now I haven't return him yet. Well who cares! He promised to go and end up didn't go, so I had to go alone. (I'm such a forever alone) -.-

I had to wake up around 3am because they set of the journey at 4am and we start hiking in the dark. We had to pair with a facilitator or a member of the club to guide us there. Since my group was really slow, they stop a few times to take a breather, I just keep moving on because if I stop, I'll lose my breath.

Hence, I had to walk alone in the dark without torchlight but only the light from the moon, thank god it was not hidden behind the cloud as it guide me on the path. I just follow whoever was in front of me, I didn't know if there my Uni students or not. Finally, I managed to climb to the top- that was the hardest part because is the most steepest part compared to other areas. We watched the sun rise but thanks to a thick cloud covering the horizon, we had to wait longer about 9am just for the Sun to rise above the clouds.

This were the pictures I took and i made into a collage form. The bottom part is before the sun rise and the top is where the sun had risen and is in different scenes. I took more than this but I'm lazy to upload more. ;)

Honestly, the club should jot down what to bring just in case for newcomers like me who had never climb a hill before. I was wearing a really short pants with a sport shirt while carrying a small bag filled with personal belongings and a bottle of water. Many brought umbrella, jackets, cameras and torchlight. Damn I was freezing high above, I didn't know it will be that cold!

Still, the view was awesome and despite the cold air, we had fun taking pictures on a rock. I smile while watching the sun because that proves I'm still alive.

LMFAO samsung

yeh yeh!!

Many should have known that whoever possesses a samsung galaxy Y smart phone are entitled to received a pair (2) of tickets. Well I'm that lucky girl to received it too among the other 1000 and more people.

A saturday morning on 10th March, I had to wake up at 6.30 am to take three types of public transportation. First was a cab to bring me to the train station then it was the train that brought me to plaza rakyat then from there I took a bus to Sunway Pyramid. The journey took me 1 and half hours. It was really tiring and boring as I went alone.

the queue wasn't that long at 9am

Hani Madu from flyfm :)

As i reached Sunway pyramid around 8.45am, I thought there weren't many people, but I was damn wrong. The queue had already started since 4 am from what I heard. Those people must be a true LMFAO fan! I waited till 10.10 am where the DJ from flyfm went on stage and starts to cheer us up. It was Hani Madu and she was the MC of the day! It didn't really work, less than a quarter answer her. I was practically giggling because this proves that Malaysian are not sporting. Sad.

Anyway, the queue was moving ahead faster than i expected and I got the ticket about 11am. While waiting, we had some entertainment, a mob performance with some funny scenes but the MC was really annoying, and that made it lame and a dance performance from the winner of last year "The Showdown"- Elecoldxhot. Many cheered for their killer moves.

I didn't stay for the shuffling competition. The sun peep out of the cloud and blast her ray onto me as my skin was crying for shade. So I enter the mall and went shopping. :P

Sabah Trip 2012

Two months ago, my family plan a trip to visit Sabah. Yes is been ages since i write on my blog, so almost everything happen months ago. LOL

Anyhow, it was a family trip and my sister boyfriend had to tag along, and he's not even part of the family-yet. It was a 5 days trip and I really enjoyed to the maximum despite the fact that I had to enjoyed most of it alone because my parents are a couple so is my sister and her boyfriend.

Honestly, that was the best experienced family trip ever because is an adventurous trip that doesn't need to listen to the tour guide yapping away on the history of the place or the landmarks or sightseeing on really boring stuff. Well, we did visit a temple, some famous building build on metal poles and a floating mosque but that only last a day.

The following days were the best for me because we went water rafting, parasailing, snorkelling, canopy walk and a few more others which I've forgotten. It was 2 months ago! It was the best moment ever, especially parasailing because I have Batophobia/Acrophobia but I wasn't afraid at all! Though it was rather pricey about RM 150 for 20 minutes. The canopy walk was quite scary for me because it was about 41 metres depending on the slope of the ground below. found this online, this link will explain thoroughly--> http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/Malaysia/East/Sabah/Ranau/photo421508.htm

High above, the wind blows onto my cheeks and the sun view from afar beaming it's ray onto the sea which reflects the light was such a breathtaking view. I wish my eyes could take picture! And the cold rush of salty water as I slowly lands onto the water. The captain of the boat speeds up and slows down to lift me up and let me fall onto the water. When i land on the water, he speeds up again and i was dragged along the water. Such an experience, I truly like it.

Everything was AWESOME!! I wish to go again, another adventure awaits me! :)

Avril Lavigne Black Star Tour 2012

Last month I went for Avril Lavigne concert which held at Stadium Merdeka. Since young I've idolize her and I can't believe I can watch her sing LIVE! As far as i remember, the first song i heard was "I'm With You" from her first album and since then i listen to all her songs- well mostly because some of her songs weren't that famous, hence it wasn't air on the radio.

My sister bought the ticket quite cheaply at rm150 for a rockzone ticket which priced at rm198 from a friend and we queue up since 4 or 5pm. It was such a tiring day and the queue extends as each hour passed. However on that day, two douchebag came in front of us and beg the two ladies in front of us to allow the guys to join them, as in cuting queue. Hence the two ladies must be some bitch to think the bastards were attracted to them and stupidly allow them to cut OUR line and join them. Wish karma befall on those two son of a bitch so they get some bashing and knock some sense to them.

Anyhow, the concert was supposedly to kick off at 8.30pm but it was late by half hour or so by listening to some music blast from the speakers. Although a DJ did went on stage to entertain us to stall the time but I believe the main star shouldn't be late. Then after about 6 musics played, she finally came on stage and sang a few songs. The rockzone was cornered and gated in such a way that reminds me of a movie "resident evil 3" where we're the zombies trying to enter to eat their brains while those control system in the middle are the survivors. Sadly, no picture was taken to prove. =/

The climax begins and we sang or rather scream along to the lyrics. Oddly though, they sang other groups songs like "pumped up kicks" and added some verse of "Airplanes" before her songs. Maybe they wanted to spice the concert but I think is rather odd.

Everything went off smoothly but of course I wanted more because she only sang for one and half hour and she seem not really excited as her enthusiasm had lost. Probably, she sang less than 10 songs while 2 songs weren't hers.

the queue is really LONG

cakes

So, after movie my friend and I headed home. And i had a sudden craving for cakes plus we didn't had any dinners, so I was hungry.

Then my friend took me to Moonlight Cake House at Johor Jaya which reside at the corner of the shops which are beautifully set with plants and bamboo surrounding it. Inside, I found the cakes proudly showing their finest creams, cheese and icing to present to customers inside a glass shelf that everyone can see an array of different kinds of cakes. Sadly there wasn't much cakes left.

When we reached, it was already 11pm- it close at 1am, consider it was lucky that we made it in time, considering the bad jam we had to go throughout the whole journey.

We each order a cake but since we're both hungry, we order one more. One was an orea cheese cake which taste really terrible. Another was strawberry shortcake which my friend said is the specialty in this shop. The last was a sour cherry cheese cake- couldn't remember the full name. Oh that was really tasty, magnificent and the best out of the three.

The place have a nice feeling to it with some soft music playing in the background though i wasn't concentrating. It wasn't those ambience at a 5 star hotel but it was good enough. They provide internet service although was rather slow. Plus the service was alright and clean as well.

There is another shop in Taman Gaya but some said it was either closed down or shifted away. Well, this is the only place where you can find cheap and delicious cakes aside Secret Recipe.
