movie insight

a sorta thrilling movie- ROOMMATE. for those who haven't watch this, please do NOT continue because it is a movie spoiler for you! so read with risk :P

minka kelly
it started with a college life where students are stayed in shared dorms. and slowly the main cast, Sara Matthews (Minka Kelly) was the unlucky one who got a psychomaniac roommate. it started off pretty nice, they hang out alot until where the climax that the roommate, Rebecca ( Leighton Meester) the one who acts in gossip girl, have an obsession with Sara and starts to become violent and doesn't allow anything to stand between their friendship.
oh look how creepy she looked when her precious roommate wasn't around!

she went all the way by threatening her party-whore friend in the same dorm and  drowning a poor little kitten in the washing machine because it "got in the way", framing a professor until he had to quit his job and killing Sara's ex-boyfriend, and  finally choking Irene, Sara's friend, to death by covering the face with a plastic bad which she's LUCKILY saved by Sara. it ends with a happy ending where the boyfriend and Irene lived. where is those horror movies ending that there is always NO ending?!

oh right, the co-actors, the party-whore (Alyson Michalka) the one who acts and sings in Disney movie- "Now You See It.." and "Cowbelle" from which i had watched as a kid. and then she had gone from an innocent cute girl from Disney to a slutty annoying girl in "Easy A" and now she had acted all party-materialistic-whore! but i still like her :)

another co-actor is Sara's new boyfriend found in the frat party, Stephen (Cam Gigandet). he surprises me when i remember watching him acting in another two movies. first was "Easy A" as a old and quite dumb boyfriend of a staunch Christian and "Burlesque", a sexy waiter in the pub where Christina Aguilera sings and acts. well apparently he only acts as co-star- for what I've seen only because none of the poster has his face! xD
wonder will his next be a leading role? i never knew he acted in so many movies! there seem to be many familiar faces nowadays.

all in all, there was no thrill AT ALL! not much cruelty was shown, not that i'm a sadistic, the trailer seem to make me wonder as such. i do think is not worth the money to watch this in the cinema. perhaps DVD or watching online or in TV's where it will release a year later. i will give a rating of only 2 stars :P
